'Dolphin Tale' Star Kicks Off Music Career in Clearwater

Fans of “Dolphin Tale” and “Dolphin Tale 2” have a chance to meet one of the franchise’s two-legged stars later this month.

Cozi Zuehlsdorff, who played Hazel Haskett in the movies, plans to visit her old friend Winter the dolphin Nov. 24, 25, 26 and 28 as she officially launches her musical career. Zuehlsdorff will be on hand at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium all four days to meet fans and give them the opportunity receive signed copies of her debut CD.

The album, titled “Originals,” goes on sale Thanksgiving via iTunes, but visitors to the aquarium will also have a chance to check out the seven-song debut.

Zuehlsdorff has studied piano for eight years and has taken part in a number of musical theater productions. The new album is a blend of Indie and Pop “with an organic feel,” according to a media release.

Preorders of the new CD release are available via the aquarium’s website, along with more information about her visit. Fans can also enter for a chance to win a photo opportunity with Winter the dolphin.
