DUI Manslaughter Charge Filed In Teen's Death: Reports

A teen died in a Largo crash, and the driver faces DUI manslaughter charges, police said.

LARGO, FL — A crash that killed an 18-year-old has resulted in the arrest of the 21-year-old driver, Largo Police said.

The crash happened on 58th Street North after a southbound driver struck two “fixed objects,” WFLA reported

Arael Vaquero was driving at a high speed, and police suspect he was also impaired, FOX Tampa reported.

His passenger, David Salazar-Castillo, 18, was killed in the crash.

Vaquero was taken to an area hospital with injuries, and is in police custody there, FOX reported.
