Carmel Café & Wine Bar continues its monthly wine series featuring exceptional wines, enlightening presentations and entertaining interaction when it hosts “An Evening With Quintessa” Sept. 18 at both its Clearwater and Carrollwood Carmel Café & Wine Bar locations beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $59.95 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
The tastings feature two flights of Quintessa wine accompanied by Mod Med dishes specially selected by Carmel Café Executive Chef Steve Cook to pair perfectly with the wine.
Quintessa wines, which are rarely available in restaurants, are crafted by one of Napa Valley’s most acclaimed wineries. The first flight features Cabernet Sauvignon barrel samples of different Quintessa vineyard blocks that will illustrate the diversity of the vineyard. The second flight uses bottled vintages as a jumping off point for a discussion of wine style and age-ability.
