Help support the troops through this golf tournament (held rain or shine). All proceeds benefit the Healing Heroes Network, a 501(c)3 charitable organization that provides financial aid for medical treatment to men and women in the armed forces injured in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan on or after 9/11/01.
Check-in starts at 11am. The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 12pm. Dinner follows the tournament.
Along with prizes for the first-, second-, and third-place foursomes, there will be contests for the longest drive and putting. In addition, there are raffle items such as an autographed Tampa Bay Lightning hockey stick, organizers say.
