The second annual Morton Plant Mease Foundation Prostate Cancer Awareness Race will be held on September 10, 2011 in Clearwater, FL at the Morton Plant Hospital campus. The family-friendly 5K run/walk is presented by Urology Specialists of West Florida and benefits Morton Plant Mease community screenings and education services and assists prostate cancer patients who may not have the resources for treatment.
The 5K will kick off at 7:30 a.m. and the course will take runners through surrounding waterfront neighborhoods. There will also be a Kids' Dash starting at 9 a.m.

The registration fee is $25 until Aug. 31 and $30 after Sept. 1. The Kids' Dash is $10.
The race is part of Morton Plant Mease's recognition of September as National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
