Mother’s Day at Carmel Café & Wine Bar Features Brunch Dishes, Seasonal Selections and a Special Gift

Make Mother’s Day a savory celebration while enjoying featured, favorite brunch dishes or ordering seasonal spring selections from the dinner menu at Carmel Café & Wine Bar.


Delicious brunch dishes offered at Carmel Café restaurants include a citrus-kissed French Toast L’Orange served with warm maple syrup, powdered sugar and bacon, a traditional Eggs Benedict made with poached eggs, toasted English muffins, ham and hollandaise sauce and a crave-worthy Crab Cake Benedict featuring basque crab cakes served on an English muffin with poached eggs, kalamata olives and hollandaise sauce.


The recently launched seasonal dinner menu will also be offered throughout the day to entice guests to enjoy culinary creations that include new featured entrees like Roasted Tunisian Chicken glazed with a special blend of 14 spices and Pan-Seared Mahi Mahi served with blood orange-infused cherries, toasted California almonds and haricot verts.

Many of the new and long-time favorite dishes available on the Carmel Cafe menu are ideal for sharing or can be customized as small or large plate servings.


In addition to a fun family celebration and great food, all mothers will be presented with a $10 gift card that can be used on a future visit at any Carmel Café & Wine Bar location.

“Mother’s Day is always a great time for families to be together. Bringing mom to brunch at Carmel Café makes it easy for everyone to relax, really enjoy this special occasion and also order whatever they like, from traditional brunch foods to pastas, seafood or our Steak Madeira, a custom-grilled 10-ounce New York Strip served with Cippolini onions and a portabella Madeira sauce,” said Terry Ryan, a founding partner of Carmel Café & Wine Bar.


Reservations are now available at all locations. The brunch menu will be offered from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and the dinner menu will be available all day.

Carmel Café’s signature cuisine is described as Mod Med, a modern interpretation of foods and flavors traditionally associated with Mediterranean countries such as Italy, Spain, France, Greece and Morocco. The menu includes seasonal dishes that highlight produce and other ingredients when they are freshest and most flavorful. 


In addition to enjoying the Mod Med cuisine served exclusively at Carmel Café & Wine Bar, diners may choose from a global selection of wines designed to easily mix and match with the menu. Wines can also be customized according to serving size, with many available in three-, six- and nine-ounce pours or by the bottle. The full service bar also offers specialty cocktails and mixed drinks.


Customized MenuPads placed at diners’ fingertips offer an inviting, interactive way to view images and descriptions of each dish, learn about wines from around the world, create pairings based on personal preferences or control the pacing of food and wine orders.


Carmel Café & Wine Bar restaurants are open 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 11:30 a.m. - 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sundays.
