Fatal Shooting Suspect Sought: Clearwater Police

Detectives are looking for the person who shot and killed Mathew Coppenbarger on Oct. 16, Clearwater police said.

CLEARWATER, FL — Do you know who killed Mathew Coppenbarger? Investigators are looking for the suspect in a fatal shooting, the Clearwater Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

The 34-year-old man was shot and killed Oct. 16 in the 1400 block of Laura Street, police said.

Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call Clearwater detectives at 727-562-4242.
