CLEARWATER, FL — One firefighter had to be taken to Morton Plant Hospital where he was treated and released after battling a fire Tuesday night at Green Benches and More, 528 S. Missouri Ave.

The Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department was called to the structure fire at 7:32 p.m. The business was empty at the time.

The department said the fire was caused by rags soaked in a flammable liquid that weren't disposed of properly. The damage is estimated at $50,000.
