Fire Rips Through Clearwater Business

The blaze broke out early Monday morning.

Clearwater Fire & Rescue is investigating a blaze that broke out a Florida Environmental Care.

According to the agency, crews were called to the scene around 3:20 a.m. Monday. When they arrived at 1901 Sherwood St., they found heavy fire coming from the structure. It took about 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control, the agency wrote in an email to media. All told, 14 units and 50 firefighters responded to the call.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
