Firefighters To Host School-Supply Drive Saturday At Clearwater Walmart

Donations will be taken from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the retailer on U.S. 19 & S.R. 590. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be sold, too!

CLEARWATER, FL – Firefighters from the Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1158 will be collecting school supplies for children on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Walmart at U.S. 19 and State Road 590.

Walmart will have grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for sale to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

Parents who are buying school supplies for their children can drop off donations to firefighters at the store.

Those who can't make it to Walmart also can drop off supplies at Publix at Northwood Plaza, Enterprise and McMullen Booth roads.

Donations will be accepted through Sunday.
