FL Man Tried To Seduce 14-Year-Old Girl: Clearwater Police

CLEARWATER, FL — A man faces 12 criminal charges for interacting with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl online, according to a Clearwater Police Department news release.

Nicholas Logan, 54, of Clearwater was charged with six counts of seduction of a child using the internet and six counts of transmission of harmful material to a minor.

Logan, who believed he was talking to a teenager, made plans to have sex with her and also sent her explicit sexual images, police said.

The girl was actually a detective from the department’s Crimes Against Children and Families Unit.
