Flood Advisory Issued for Hillsborough, Pinellas

The National Weather Service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for northwest Hillsborough and southeastern Pinellas counties until 2:45 p.m. Thursday.

Slow-moving showers and a few thunderstorms are moving through the area.

Locations that may experience flooding include Tampa, Clearwater, Largo, Temple Terrace, Lutz, St. Petersburg, Carrollwood and the University area.

As of early Thursday afternoon, as much as 3 inches of rain had already fallen in some areas.
