Florida Primary 2016: Where to Vote in Tampa Bay
Voters head to the polls Tuesday to decide which candidates move on to the November general election.

TAMPA BAY, FL — Tampa Bay area residents head to the polls Tuesday, Aug. 30 to cast their votes in Florida’s primary races. The election will decide which candidates move on to the November general election.
Since Florida is a closed primary state, voters will only be able make their choices for candidates on their own party’s ticket. Even so, since a proposed constitutional amendment is on Tuesday’s ballot, all registered voters can report to the polls. The proposed amendment would offer property tax relief for those who install solar or other renewable energy source devices on their properties. If approved, the amendment would take effect on Jan. 1, 2018, and would expire on Dec. 31, 2037.
Tampa Bay area residents who aren’t sure where to vote can look up their precincts through their county supervisor of elections offices as follows:
