Flotilla To Honor President Trump Sunday On His Birthday

TAMPA BAY, FL — Hundreds of boaters displaying the Stars and Stripes will cruise Tampa Bay Sunday to pay tribute to President Donald Trump on his 74th birthday.

The patriotic event, dubbed "Trumptilla," coincides with Flag Day so the red, white and blue will be in abundance.

The flotilla is slated to launch at 11 a.m. near Beer Can Island off Apollo Beach. Boaters are asked to begin gathering at 9:45 a.m.

Organized by MAGA 2020 (Make America Great Again), the parade will take boaters past Davis Islands, Bayshore Boulevard, McDill Air Force Base and the American Legion Post 138.

Boaters are then invited to attend post-rally celebrations at MiraBay Flats in Apollo Beach, Weedon Island and Beer Can Island.

MAGA 20 is asking those attending to register so the group knows how many boaters to expect.

Other Trump birthday celebrations include:

• Conservative Grounds coffee shop will host a birthday bash Sunday from 6 t0 9 p.m. at 13344 66th St. in Largo.
• There will be a Trump's Birthday Car Caravan Rally Sunday starting at 2 p.m. at the old Walgreens parking lot, 814 Cleveland St., Clearwater.

Residents are invited to decorate their cars, sing "Happy Birthday," sign a birthday card for the presidents and then send off the rally with a prayer. There will be food and drink after the rally at 1238 Cleveland St. Click here for the route and instructions for participating.
