Get Rid Of Unwanted Household Electronics, Chemicals At Clearwater Collection

Pinellas County Department of Solid Waste is hosting a mobile collection event in Clearwater for unwanted household electronics.

CLEARWATER, FL — Pinellas County Department of Solid Waste is hosting a mobile collection event in Clearwater for unwanted household electronics and chemicals. The event is Saturday, June 27, at Countryside High School, 3000 State Road 580 in Clearwater. For the safety of customers and staff, please adhere to the following:

BEFORE THE EVENT

  • Customers are asked to place electronics and chemicals in the vehicle trunk or the back of a pick-up truck or trailer bed.

DURING THE EVENT

  • Adhere to distancing guidelines of at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people.
  • Customers are asked to remain in their vehicles.
  • All items must be in the vehicle trunk or the back of a pick-up truck or trailer bed.
  • Staff will not remove items from vehicle interiors.

EVENT INFORMATION

  • The school entrance for this event is off McMullen-Booth Road just north of State Road 580.
