I love the streetscaping on Cleveland.
The wide sidewalks make gliding a lot easier and more fun.
If anyone thinks Segway PTs are motorized vehicles and shouldn't be allowed on sidewalks, they're wrong! This Florida Statute spells it out. It's been in effect since around the time the Segway PT was first introduced in 2002.
Another Florida statute is "Definitions" within the state's "Uniform Traffic Control" section. See items 21 and 83.
Per this statute, I always give pedestrians the right-of-way as well as let them know that I'm going to pass.
You'll see me often on Cleveland between East and Missouri, as I shop often at Nature's Food Patch and Walgreens.
