Monster Jam
Monster Jam will take place Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium at 4201 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Tickets are $15. Monster Jam features world-class drivers testing the limits of Monster Jam trucks.
Safety Harbor Food And Art Tour
The Safety Harbor Food and Art Tour, hosted by Harbor Food Tours, 401 Main St., Safety Harbor, will take place Saturday, Jan. 12, 19 and 26 from 1:15 to 4:30 p.m. Food and art lovers are invited to stroll down the scenic streets of Safety Harbor while sampling food from more than 30 restaurants, bars and bakeries, exploring public art, private galleries, antique shops and boutiques and visiting the Safety Harbor Museum and Safety Harbor Art and Music Center.

Cutest Pirate Dog Contest
The Krewe of Alegria will host the eight annual Cutest Pirate Dog Contest Saturday, Jan. 12 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Tequilas, 1613 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City.

This fun event features prizes for the best-dressed pirate pets; raffles; a silent auction; and food and drink specials. The event is free to attend for spectators. The fee to enter the pet contest is $15. Proceeds benefit Vets 4 Pets Tampa.

Gasparilla Bash
The Rotary Club of Tampa invites the community to kick off the Gasparilla season at the Gasparilla Bash Saturday, Jan. 12 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Historic Rialto Theatre, 1617 N. Franklin St., in Tampa Heights.
This inclusive pirate costume party will raise money for the Rotary Club of Tampa Foundation, which invests $50,000 or more annually in grants, scholarships and programs that serve children and families in the Tampa area and abroad.
The party features live music from local favorite The Black Honkeys, as well as hors d’oeuvres provided by food partners Catership, Le Chateau Catering & Events, Pei Wei Asian Kitchen and Alessi Bakeries.
A cash bar will be provided by St. Petersburg Distillery featuring the event’s signature cocktail, the Smokin’ Seadog, served in a smoke-filled glass made with Old St. Pete sweet corn whiskey.
General admission tickets are $75.
VIP tickets are $125 and include access to the St. Petersburg Distillery VIP Lounge with luxury seating, “back stage” access to The Black Honkeys and other entertainment, complimentary beverages and cocktails and free valet parking.

Tampa Repertory Theatre Presents 'Copenhagen'
The ghosts of physicists Werner Heisenberg and Niels Bohr, and Bohr’s wife, Margrethe, attempt to answer the question “Why did Heisenberg come to Copenhagen?” The Tampa Repertory Theatre will present the play on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. at Studio 120 in the Theatre Center at the University of South Florida and Sunday, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. at the Studio Theatre at HCC Ybor City, East Palm Avenue and North 14th Street, Ybor City. The play also will be presented Jan. 19-20.

Art On 12th Street Festival
The third annual Art on 12th Street Festival will take place Saturday, Jan. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Maven Market, 207 N. 11th St., Tampa, and surrounding businesses. The streets will be lined with artists, food trucks living paints, live music, interactive art activities and yoga in the park.
Raising Cane
The Pioneer Florida Museum & Village will host Raising Cane: A Sweet & Spicy Event Saturday, Jan. 12 from 9 to 5 p.m. at 15602 Pioneer Museum Road, Dade City.
The event will feature a chili cook-off, a chili verde and salsa competition, a $3 pancake breakfast from 9 to 10:30 a.m. hosted by the Kiwanis Club, a cane syrup tasting contest, live music food vendors

Winter Jam 2019
Winter Jam 2019 will take place Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. at Amalie Arena at 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa.
It features a lineup of top performers including Grammy-nominated former “American Idol” finalist Danny Gokey; Grammy-winning recording artist and "Overcomer" hit maker Mandisa; Northern Ireland's "Count Every Blessing" worshippers Rend Collective; Skillet drummer and female solo rocker LEDGER; Grammy-nominated tour creators and hosts NewSong; and Dove Award-nominated Gotee recording artist Hollyn.
In addition, the Pre-Jam Party is slated to feature hip-hop recording artist Ty Brasel; rockers Manic Drive; singer/songwriter Dan Bremnes; and special guest former Stellar Kart and Audio Adrenaline front man Adam Agee.
The tour will also include a Gospel presentation from Dare2Share speakers Greg Stier or Zane Black.
Tickets are $15.
Floating Roots Fest
Floating Roots music blog is hosting its first music festival showcasing the best independent musical acts in the Tampa Bay area Saturday, Jan. 12 from 2 p.m. to midnight at the Paper Crane, 910 5th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
The Floating Roots Fest will feature R&B, Indie rock, electronic, folk and hip-hop. DJ Callaghan Keane will provide dat funk between sets, Pirata Popup will serve food Muddy Waters will sell kratom and tea. There will also be beer and wine for sale.
Tickets are $10 and proceeds go directly to the performers. Any other profits will go to Habitat for Humanity.

Raising Cane
Nat And Natalie Tribute
Unforgettable: 100 Years of Nat & Natalie with the Florida Orchestra Pops will include the music of Nat and Natalie Cole Saturday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. at the Mahaffey Theater, 400 1st Street S., St. Petersburg.

Whose Live Anyway?
"Whose Live Anyway?," the live version of the improv television show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?," stars Drew Carey, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis and Joel Murray. It will be presented Saturday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater.
Tickets are $43.25 to $68.75.
