High Surf Advisory Issued For Tampa Bay Counties
The advisory is in effect for Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota counties.

TAMPA BAY, FL — The National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory until Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 1 a.m. for Tampa Bay.
A high rip current risk remains in effect through Wednesday morning and a high surf advisory is in effect until 1 a.m. Wednesday in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee and Sarasota counties.
The weather service is reporting large breaking waves of 4 to 6 feet and dangerous rip currents. This will present dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
