Hulk Hogan, Friend Save Teen Girl After Car Flips In Clearwater

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan used a ballpoint pen to puncture a girl's airbags, helping her to safety after a Clearwater car crash.

CLEARWATER — With a ballpoint pen, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan rescued a teenage girl whose car flipped over Sunday night in Clearwater, according to Hogan and his wife.

Hogan's wife, Sky Daily, in a Monday morning Facebook post, said the teenager's car flipped over in front of the couple as they were leaving dinner in Tampa.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Eugene Bollea, and friend Jake Rask jumped into action, punctured the teenager's airbag and helped her to quickly escape the car, Daily said. It is unknown what caused the girl's car to flip.

"By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle," she wrote.

A knife was not available to puncture the airbags, but Hogan said on X, formerly Twitter, another tool came in handy.

"The crazy part about the teenager that flipped her car was that without a knife to puncture the airbags to get her out, (an) Indian Rocks Christian ballpoint pen came in really handy to pot the bags, thank you God, all is well even now, Amen HH," he wrote.

A representative for Hogan told USA Today the rescue was normal for the 70-year-old WWE Hall of Famer.

"It's typical for Hulk, he has a big heart," Hogan's rep Linda Bose said via email to USA Today. "He helps and treats people with the highest respect."
