Inaugural Bay 2 Beach Music Fest Gets Underway Friday

CLEARWATER, FL – Clearwater will be alive with music this weekend when the city presents its inaugural Bay 2 Beach Music & Arts Festival Friday through Sunday, April 27-29.

Presented by Coors Light, the festival will bring nationally known musical artists to Clearwater along with local multi-genre musicians. At the same time, the city will showcase the unique two- and three-dimensional works of area artists.

The Bay 2 Beach weekend kicks off Friday at 6:30 p.m. with the return of Blast Friday in the Cleveland Street District of downtown Clearwater.

Alternative rock band 10,000 Maniacs will perform on the Cleveland Street stage with special guest Fire & Ice opening the show.

Food trucks and vendors will be on hand, serving a variety of freshly prepared specialty foods, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Concert goers are welcome to bring lawn chairs to watch the concert.

In addition, there will be a Beer Garden at Station Square, located in the 600 block of Cleveland Street, with samplings from New Belgium Brewing.

On Saturday, April 28, the action moves to Coachman Park along downtown Clearwater's waterfront where visitors can stroll down an art walk and listen to the country music of headliner Andy Grammer along with support bands LOCASH and Parachute.

On Sunday, April 29, country singer/songwriter Hunter Hayes will be the featured artist. Also taking the stage will be Jerrod Neimann, Stephanie Quayle and Aubrey Wollett.

Tickets start at $20 per day, $30 for the weekend, $40 for pit access and $100 for VIP seating.
