Local Hooters Girls To Compete In International Pageant
Two Tampa Bay Hooters Girls will compete in the Miss Hooters Pageant.
From Hooters:Hooters Girls Somer Bishop and Jordan Sura were selected to compete in the 23rd Annual Miss Hooters International Pageant in Tahoe.
Bishop lives in Clearwater and has worked at The Original Hooters for a little over a year. Sura lives in Wesley Chapel and has worked at the Hooters in Brandon for 10 months.
“The fact that I was chosen for this once in a life time experience is incredible. I am looking forward to and very grateful for this opportunity,” said Hooters Girl Jordan Sura.

“I was shocked when I found out that I was selected. It is an honor and I am very proud. I am so grateful to work for a company that makes me feel so special, “ said Hooters Girl Somer Bishop.
This is the first time both Bishop and Sura were selected to represent Tampa for the pageant. “Somer and Jordan were chosen to compete in the 2019 Hooters Pageant because they are both the quintessential Hooters Girl- beautiful, smart, outgoing, and engaging. We couldn’t be prouder to send them to Lake Tahoe to representTampa Bay and our entire brand for the experience of a lifetime,” said Hooters Management Corporation Marketing Director Leah Ramker.

Bishop’s hobbies include working out, going to the beach, traveling and finding new recipes. She has enjoyed many of the volunteer opportunities while working for Hooters including Habitat for Humanity, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Charity Golf Tournaments. She is currently attending St. Petersburg College for Interior Design. She was in the 2019 Hooters Calendar and recently shot for the 2020 Hooters Calendar.
Sura’s hobbies include learning how to cook, growing herbs and traveling.
She enjoys her charity work through Hooters including visiting the local children’s hospitals and volunteering at the animal shelter. She is currently getting her Bachelors at University of South Florida for Marketing. She was in the 2018 Hooters Calendar and recently shot for the 2020 Hooters Calendar.
The 23rd Annual Miss Hooters International Pageant will place on Thursday, June 20th at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena. The pageant contestants are selected from the Hooters Girls who presently work in the restaurants. There are a total of 80 coveted spots in the 23rd Annual Miss Hooters International Pageant. The contest includes a costume portion, in which each girl designs a costume to represent her hometown.
Contestants will compete for the 2019 Miss Hooters International Title, which includes a $30,000 cash prize and a chance to serve as the face of the iconic brand. She will become a brand ambassador and spokesperson, travel to assist in international openings, appear in the national advertisements, and contribute to marketing initiatives, community outreach and special events throughout the year.
