Long Waits, Modified Schedule This Week At County Testing Sites
The Tropicana Field COVID-19 testing site is experiencing long lines, but residents can be tested at a number of other sites.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Tropicana Field COVID-19 testing site is experiencing long lines due to high demand, but residents can be tested at a number of other sites throughout the county at no cost.

Pinellas County’s drive through sites at Tropicana Field and Ruth Eckerd Hall are operating on a reduced schedule this week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday (see modified hours below).

Residents are also reminded that a negative test result only shows your status on the day you were tested. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, please follow all quarantine guidance.
Rapid testing is available at Tropicana Field, however, residents are urged to know what type of test they need before heading to the site. Many employers, airlines, travel businesses etc. require the regularly offered PCR test.

Important note: Results from the PCR test may take several days, but this test is considered more accurate than the rapid test.
Residents arriving at the Tropicana Field testing site are asked to stay in their car. Walk-ups are not permitted. A list of sites that accept walk-ups is available on the website above.

Tuesday – Saturday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
CLOSED Thursday & Friday, Nov. 26 - 27 for Thanksgiving

This week: Monday and Wednesday, 7 - 10 a.m.; Friday, Nov. 27, 7-9 a.m.
Starting Monday Nov. 30: Monday – Friday, 7 - 10 a.m.
