Man Stabbed in Bar Fight on Gulf to Bay

A Clearwater man is under arrest after police say he pulled a knife during a fight Thursday morning at Razzel's Lounge, 2794 Gulf to Bay Blvd.

Willie Lee McNeill, 49, faces aggravated battery charges in the stabbing of Ronald Schroeder, 30, of Largo.

According to a report from Clearwater Police:

The suspect and victim engaged in a physical altercation in the bar. 

During the fight, the suspect retrieved a knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim twice, then fled the area. A short time later, officers located the suspect's vehicle and initiated a high risk traffic stop. The suspect was taken into custody.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries. He is recovering at this time.
