Meet The Stars Of 'Dolphin Tale' At Clearwater Aquarium

CLEARWATER, FL -- Meet the stars of "Dolphin Tale" today, July 24 and Wednesday, July 25 at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Cozi Zuehlsdorff (Hazel), Nathan Gamble (Sawyer) and Austin Highsmith (Phoebe) will be on hand to answer questions, sign autographs and take photos with fans during scheduled appearances throughout both days with the price of generation admission.

The 2011 film by Warner Brothers and Alcon Entertainment is the true story of Winter, a young dolphin that was caught in a crab trap, rescued and transported to Clearwater Marine Hospital.

Damage from the crab trap rope caused her to lose her tale but a marine biologist developed a prosthetic tale that allows Winter to swim. The movie, also starring Harry Connick Jr., Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd and Kris Kristofferson, was filmed on location at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium,

The 2014 sequel, "Dolphin Tale 2," revolves around other true rescue stories at the aquarium including the stories of rehabilitated dolphins Hope and Mandy, Rufus the pelican and Mavis the sea turtle.
