Meet the Wonderful Sandy!

"Hi, my name is Sandy. I am a sweet eight year old Labrador Retriever mix. I have been visiting the SPCA, in hopes of finding a future home that can provide me with all the loving I need. Having a canine friend in my future home shouldn't be a problem at all. Please bring the entire family, including children and canines; to meet me before we go home together to make sure we are a perfect match for one another. Also, it would be best that I go to a home with no cats please. A new schedule and routine will help me to make a smooth transition into my new home with regards to my house training skills. I am a huge fan of plush squeaky toys! I hope you have several for me to run around with when we get home together. I do know a ton of tricks: "Sit," "Down," "Speak" and "Paw!" I am such a sweet and easy going girl who is looking forward to your visit! "

Sandy is a wonderful, sweet girl with lots of love to give. She came to the SPCA with severe arthritis in one of her hips. SPCA veterinary staff performed a surgery to remove the head of her femur relieve the arthritic pain. Things are much easier for Sandy now, and we have been working on physical therapy to help her get used to walking after the surgery. She does better and better every day, and can't wait to find a new family so spend her golden years with.

Sandy's adoption fee is $75, which covers the cost of her surgeries, vaccines, and microchip.
