Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Crash On Sand Key Bridge

CLEARWATER, FL — A 35-year-old motorcyclist remains in critical but stable condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg after an accident Thursday on the Sand Key Bridge.

According to Clearwater police, the motorcyclist was heading south on the bridge at 12:41 a.m. when he lost control and crashed. He was airlifted to Bayfront Health.

Police say speed and impairment may have been caused the crash.
