The Clearwater Police Department is investigating a motorcycle crash that left a 20-year-old man dead.
According to an email from the agency, Anthony Owen Valentino of Clearwater was heading west on Overbrook Avenue around 10 a.m. at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his bike. The motorcycle veered off the north side of the road and hit several things, including mailboxes.
Valentiono was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash has closed Overbrook between Douglas Avenue and Betty Lane.
