The Clearwater Police Department has announced arrests in a two-day crackdown meant to target drug activity in the city. All told, nearly two dozen people now face charges.
The operation, conducted last Thursday and Friday, involved the police department’s anti-crime, bike, beach anti-crime and narcotics teams.
“This operation represents months of police work that was in response to complaints and information shared with us by our citizens,” said Police Chief Dan Slaughter. “We are thankful to have an observant citizenry and for all the tips they have provided.”
