Paint Your Heart Out, Clearwater Seeks Volunteers And Donors

From Paint Your Heart Out Clearwater: Paint Your Heart Out, Clearwater is seeking volunteers to paint the homes for people in need and is also seeking sponsors and donors to continue to support the organization financially.

Paint Your Heart Out, Clearwater will paint 12 homes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6.

The one-day event helps disadvantaged homeowners and the elderly by having volunteers paint the exteriors of the Clearwater homes that have been selected.

Organizers are looking for teams of volunteers and individual volunteers who will be placed in groups. Volunteer painters must be at least 16 years old. Paint and brushes will be provided.

The organization is also seeking donations and sponsors to help the program continue to thrive.

Paint Your Heart Out, Clearwater was formed 27 years ago and has painted more than 300 homes in Clearwater. The program is a community partnership comprised of the city of Clearwater, local businesses, community groups and concerned citizens.
