Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Crash With Dump Truck

Clearwater Police have released some details in a Wednesday afternoon crash involving a dump truck and pedestrian.

CLEARWATER, FL — As a Wednesday night crash that sent a 39-year-old man to the hospital with serious injuries remains under investigation, Clearwater Police have released some information.

According to police, Adam Creamer of Bushnell was crossing Belleair Road from north to south outside of a crosswalk just before 5 p.m. May 10. As Creamer crossed the road, police say he was hit by a dump truck that was headed westbound.

Creamer was airlifted from the crash scene and taken to Bayfront Health. Police say his injuries are serious, but are not believed to be life-threatening.

The name of the dump truck driver is not being released at this time. Charges are pending the outcome of the agency’s investigation.

The crash closed the intersection of Belleair Road and Highland Avenue just before rush hour Wednesday.
