Pettibone Gets No Support In Threshers Loss
Manatee pitchers give up just six hits in defeating Clearwater 2-1.
Scott Krieger's seventh homerun of the season in the eighth inning was the difference in the Manatees 2-1 victory Wednesday (Aug. 24) over the Clearwater Threshers.
The Threshers managed only six hits off three Manatees pitchers, scoring their only run on a sacrifice fly by Jeremy Barnes in the sixth inning.
The Manatees entered the game with the worst ERA in the Florida State League giving up a run a game more than the Threshers.

Jonathan Pettibone was unable to win his 10th game of the season despite limiting the Manatees to three hits over seven innings, striking out six.
