Photos Released of Armed Robbery Suspects

Clearwater Police say two men robbed Maria's Food Mart Monday night.

The Clearwater Police Department is looking for help identifying two men it says robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Monday night.

According to the agency, two men walked into Maria’s Food Mart, 1333 N. Highland Ave., just before 8:30 p.m. One of the men was carrying a small handgun at the time. The men demanded cash and fled the scene after the robbery, an email from the agency stated.

Both suspects appeared to be about 20 years old, the department said. One man is described as being about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs an estimated 160 pounds. He was wearing black pants, white shoes and a gray ski-type mask. The other suspect stands about 5 feet, 8 inches in height and weighs an estimated 200 pounds. He was wearing tan shorts and a black hooded jacket with white lettering. He also had on white shoes.
