CLEARWATER, FL — Due to the current health and safety concerns presented by the coronavirus pandemic, the annual Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival will not be held in 2021.

"Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions on large gatherings, the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is unable to take place in April," Lisa Chandler, Sugar Sand Festival founder and organizer said. "We will continue to keep you informed and look forward to creating another sandtastic event in 2022."

The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival stands out as one of the best sand sculpture festivals in Florida, with world-renowned sand artists entered to win the best in show with their sand creations.
