Pinellas Co. Pedestrian Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver
Authorities are looking for the driver of a white truck involved in the collision that sent the man to the hospital.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol today is seeking the driver of a white truck involved in a hit-and-run collision Sunday night that injured a pedestrian from Clearwater.
The 59-year-old man was struck at approximately 8:34 p.m. as he walked eastbound in the inside lane of Ulmerton Road, according to FHP Sgt. Steve Gaskins.
The truck was traveling eastbound on Ulmerton in the inside lane east of 49th Street North, when it struck the man and failed to stop, Gaskins said.

The victim was transferred to Bayfront Medical Center, but no information was released on his condition,
Gaskins said the truck involved possibly has a Florida license plate of 3747UA.
