Pinellas County Youth Advisory Committee To Hold Open House Aug. 25
YAC was developed as a means for Pinellas high school students to provide the local youth perspective to the county commission.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners invites area high school students to attend the annual Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Virtual Open House on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at 3:30 p.m. via Zoom.
The virtual open house will provide students with information about YAC and ways that students can participate in local government.
Established in 2001, YAC was developed as a means for Pinellas high school students to provide the local youth perspective to the board of county commissioners. YAC members assist the commission by helping to identify the needs of young people, organizing youth-based activities that benefit the community, and by becoming active participants in county programs.
