Sandbags To Be Available For Unincorporated Pinellas Residents

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Sandbag distribution locations have been activated for unincorporated Pinellas residents to prepare for potential flooding from increased rainfall.

Sandbags are only recommended for residents who may experience flooding from rainfall. Sandbags are not recommended for storm surge from the bay or tidal waters.

Sandbag distribution locations open Monday, July 5, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or until supplies last at:

John Chesnut Sr. Park, 2200 East Lake Road in Palm Harbor

Walsingham Park, 12615 102nd Ave, Seminole

Sandbags are limited to 20 per person. Materials will be supplied and shovels available.
