Pinellas Schools Offer Virtual STEM Camps

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A traditional in-person Virtual STEM Innovation Summer Camp has space for about 300 students but, with virtual learning, enrollment is wide open.

So far, 1,200 students have registered for the Pinellas County School Virtual STEM Innovation Camp and there are still about 400 spots available.

The camp is open for students in grades two through 12. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Activities include: developing a mobile app, video game design, robotics and STEM career exploration. Students will have the chance to collaborate and socialize virtually. The four-day camps are offered Monday through Thursday starting June 15, June 22, July 6 and July 13.
