Pinellas Woman Found Shot; Neighbor Accused Of Trying To Kill Her

A 23-year-old Clearwater man has been arrested after being accused of trying to kill his neighbor following a dispute.

CLEARWATER, FL — A 23-year-old Clearwater man has been arrested after being accused of trying to kill his neighbor following a dispute.

On Friday at 6:45 a.m., deputies were called to the 5200 block of Bamboo Place for a shooting after two neighbors got into an argument. They found a 32-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds. Her gunshot wounds were not life-threatening, and she was taken to the hospital to be treated.

Deputies learned that the man accused of shooting her, 23-year-old Quinten Randolph, fled the scene in a stolen vehicle before they arrived. Deputies later found the vehicle abandoned in the 5200 block of Springwood Boulevard in Pinellas Park.

Deputies learned that Randolph had been picked up and was a passenger in another vehicle. The sheriff's helicopter conducted a search and caught sight of the vehicle around 42nd Street and 4th Avenue South in St. Petersburg where deputies took Randolph into custody.

He's been charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of grand theft of a motor vehicle.
