Police Find Stolen Krispy Kreme Van, Get Doughnuts As Reward
Finding a stolen Krispy Kreme delivery van proved to have its rewards for members of the Clearwater Police Department.
CLEARWATER, FL -- Finding a stolen Krispy Kreme delivery van proved to have its rewards for members of the Clearwater Police Department.
The van was stolen from Lake City Tuesday morning, Oct. 16. But it was the good fortune of Clearwater Police officers to be the ones to recover it 300 miles away in Crest Lake Park.
In gratitude, the Krispy Kreme store manager donated the dozens of boxes of doughnuts in the van to the police.

Since police officers never say "no" to doughnuts, they gratefully accepted the donation, ate a few and then shared the rest with the city's homeless.
There's no word on who stole the van but the kidnap victims were found safe and tasty.
