Police Need Help Sniffing Out Sweet-Smelling Thieves
Three women are accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of perfume.
The Clearwater Police Department is looking for some help identifying three women it says helped themselves to more than $2,000 worth of perfume from a local store recently.
The crime in question took place at Ulta Beauty, 2683 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd., on March 5. Police say two of the women distracted employees while the third stuffed her purse full of perfume and left the Clearwater Mall store.
In an email to media, police described the woman accused of swiping the perfume as a black female who is about 35 to 40 years old. She stands about 5 feet, 8 inches in height and weighs an estimated 200 pounds. The woman has short hair and a tattoo above her chest.

The second suspect is described as being a black woman about 20 to 25 years old. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 225 pounds. The third woman is also black and is estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old. That woman stands about 5 feet, 4 inches in height and weighs about 150 pounds. She has a tattoo that says “Tony” on her arm.
