20-Year-Old Charged In Shooting Death In Clearwater

A 22-year-old Clearwater man has died following a shooting Saturday in the 900 block of Vine Avenue near Palmetto Street.

CLEARWATER, FL — A 22-year-old Clearwater man has died following a shooting Saturday in the 900 block of Vine Avenue near Palmetto Street.

According to Clearwater police, Alex Walker was discovered shot just after 12:30 p.m. He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was pronounced dead an hour later.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Amani Jackson.
