Publix Pilgrims Return for the Holidays

Ever since they made their debut in a 1998 television commercial, the Publix pilgrims have been almost as traditional to Florida Thanksgivings as turkeys and pumpkin pie.

Realizing that, the retailer has announced the return of the iconic salt and pepper shakers at stores throughout the region.

“The commercial ends by saying, ‘There’s nothing like being together at the holidays,’” the Publix website says. “And, we think that still rings true today, so the ceramic couple is coming out of retirement.”

The Pilgrim Pair shakers are only available for a limited time though, so Publix recommends picking up a pair soon.
