Rain, Cooler Temperatures in Tampa Bay's Forecast

Conditions are expected to slide throughout the week.

The Tampa Bay area is in for a mixed bag weather-wise as the workweek gets under way.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions are likely to turn rainy at some point on Monday with thunderstorms also a possibility. The high is expected to reach the mid-70s with a low in the lower 60s.

While Monday’s 60 percent chance of rain doesn’t follow into Tuesday’s forecast, patchy fog is anticipated in the early morning hours. A high in the low 70s is expected with a low around the mid-60s.

Wednesday brings a decent chance for sunshine with a high around 70 in store. The overnight hours usher in more chances for rain, however, and a low in the upper 50s.

Forecasters expect Thursday to deliver about a 50 percent chance of rain during the daytime hours and 20 percent chance overnight. The high should reach the upper 60s.

On the upside, the weekend is expected to kick off with a mostly sunny Friday and a high around 62.
