Latest storm developments

• Pinellas County remains in the five-day forecast for Tropical Storm Eta.
• Storm is expected to strengthen to a hurricane overnight, but its ultimate track and impact to Pinellas County are not yet clear.
• Windy conditions expected in the next 24 hours, with possible tropical storm force winds later this week.
• No evacuation orders issued for Pinellas County at this time.

Pinellas County response/action

• Emergency Management is monitoring the storm to determine what response may be necessary later this week based on the storm’s track.
