Saving Ozzy: Ensnared In Crab Trap, Sea Turtle Recovers

CLEARWATER, FL – News from the Clearwater Marine Aquarium:

Ozzy, a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle, sustained severe injuries due to a crab trap entanglement, according to folks at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

(Much like Winter the dolphin, she had a long road to recovery.)

Her worst injury was to her flipper, the organization said. Veterinarians had to come up with innovative medical procedures in order for Ozzy to heal. See how the treatment took place in this new episode of Rescue-Clearwater.
