Search On for Armed Bank Robbery Suspect
An AmeriBank in Clearwater was struck Friday afternoon.
The Clearwater Police Department is looking for help identifying a man it says robbed a bank Friday afternoon.
According to the agency, the man walked into the 2571 Countryside Blvd. AmeriBank around 12:43 p.m. armed with a gun. The man, who had pantyhose on his head, demanded cash and fled from the bank following the holdup.
Police have released a surveillance photo from the crime. They ask that anyone who can identify the suspect call 727-562-4242.
