Girl Scout Junior Troop 116 of Seminole recently held a drive to collect blankets and warm clothing to deliver to Pinellas Hope in Clearwater, a temporary emergency shelter for more than 250 homeless men and women. Upon learning that the residents at Pinellas Hope live in tents that have no heat during the winter months, the troop of fourth and fifth grade Girl Scouts decided to host the drive to help make a difference for those in need in their community.
