Stepfather, Stepson Followed, Beat Up Teen On Bike: Clearwater Police

CLEARWATER, FL — A stepfather and stepson from Largo face charges after following a teenager on a bicycle and beating him up in a May 1 road-rage incident, the Clearwater Police Department wrote in a Facebook post.

Enrique Sanchez, 45, and his stepson, Bradley Burroughs, 25, were charged with strong arm robbery and booked into the Pinellas County Jail Wednesday afternoon.

The bicyclist nearly hit the suspects’ SUV in a gas station parking lot at Chestnut Street and Fort Harrison Avenue.The teen was followed by the men, who forced him off his bicycle — which they later stole — and beat him up, police said.

Burroughs, the passenger in the SUV, jumped out of the vehicle, tackled the teen and beat him up, while Sanchez, the driver, followed the victim for several blocks before the beating, according to CPD.
