Sunshine, Cool Weather for Tampa Bay's Weekend

Tampa Bay area residents hoping to enjoy some outdoor time this weekend are in for a treat.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service say the region is in for a nice stretch of sunny weather and comfortable temperatures.

Friday’s cool high in the low 60s will be followed by a low in the mid-40s. Things, however, start to heat up on Saturday when the high will climb to the low 70s. Overnight lows are expected to reach the mid-50s.

Sunday is expected to bring a high near 80 with a comfortable overnight low in the upper 60s.

Rain isn’t in the forecast for the weekend, nor is it expected in the early part of next week when highs should hover in the mid-70s with lows in the lower 60s.
