Update: Swimmer Pulled from Clearwater Beach Identified
The man is from East Greenbush, N.Y.

Swimmers at Clearwater Beach pulled an unresponsive man from the water Thursday afternoon.
According to Clearwater Police, the incident occurred in the area in front of 7 Rockaway St. around 3:20 p.m. When swimmers pulled the man from the water, lifeguards and then Clearwater Fire & Rescue crews jumped in to provide care.
The man was transported to Morton Plant Hospital where he was later pronounced death. He has been identified as Michael Mastin, 62, of East Greenbush, N.Y.
